Connecting Seams is a sewing production company for businesses and private clientele. We aim to connect the seams in families and communities by connecting seams of fabric and offering piecework sewing jobs for stay at home parents. We also offer sewing lessons and products that are upcycled to sell.
Connecting Seams offers a sewing service based on quality products. We strive to create products that won’t fall apart in the first year or more. This service is for individuals and businesses to sew your products, ideas, and needs for you. We have the ability to create, mend, repair, and tailor; clothes, bags, cushions, mats, linens, bedding, covers, and more.
Customers are responsible for supplying materials needed for products. This gives the customer the ability to use the exact materials they want for the product, and have more control over the cost for materials. Connecting Seams can supply thread, zippers, elastic, and clasps at an additional charge.
Do you want your product to be made in the U.S. and have that made in the U.S. logo? For businesses that need 20 or more of a product made each month, we meet with you to discuss your needs for the items in question, and then make a sample based on $30 an hour. We will make a few to come up with a piecework price based on $25 an hour, and then sew as piecework from there.
For one time items, Work is based on $30 an hour. We can walk you through the estimated project timeline and what materials will be needed, so you know how much to order/ buy.

Have a pre cut product that just needs trim?
We can do that.
Embroidery
Need or want to have product information embroidered on the product, or maybe the company logo? Our embroidery machine can handle linen to heavy canvas.
Custom table cover
This table cover has rounded corners, was made with pleather, and it fits perfect!
We can also fix a broken zipper.
This bag had a lot of sentimental value to it’s owner, and they didn’t want to toss it. They really wanted to keep using it. So we tore out the old zipper and put in a new one. Now it’s like brand new.
